What you get
- Inpatient cover of Ksh 250,000, 300,000 or 500,000, depending on the level you choose
- Works as a top-up to Social Health Authority (SHA) cover
- Optional extras: outpatient, maternity, optical and dental
- A Hospicare smart card you present at partner hospitals
- Cover for other ailments as listed in your plan document
What it costs
Contributions start from as little as Ksh 100 per day. After 90 days of contributions you receive your medical smart card.

The exact daily or monthly amount depends on the inpatient level you choose. Our team confirms the amount for your level in writing before you start paying.
How to join
- Pay the one-time registration fee of Ksh 200
- Choose your inpatient level (250K, 300K or 500K)
- Contribute daily, weekly or monthly for 90 days to activate your smart card
How to claim
- Present your smart card at a partner hospital when admitted
- For questions during admission, call or WhatsApp 0739 130 026
- Keep your M-Pesa contribution records and card number safe
Waiting periods and exclusions
The card activates after your contribution period. Waiting periods for specific benefits (for example maternity) apply — ask for the written terms. The list of hospitals that accept the card is published by the plan administrator; ask our team for the current list before you join.
